On May 25th 2018, EU Directive 2016/679 of 27th April 2017 (the General Data Protection Regulation “GDPR”) came into force.
In brief, the purpose of the GDPR regulation is:
- To align and harmonise data protection standards across the EU.
- To ensure and promote the responsible management of personal data that we may register and use in the course of our business.
