Role: Reporting to the Head of Asset Management Fund Accounting you will be responsible for Fund Accounting teams, ensuring quality service delivery to clients in full compliance with regulation and group standards.

Key Responsibilities:   

  • Manage teams on shore and oversight offshore to ensure the effectiveness of service delivery.    Effective resource planning, selection, monitoring performance and skillsets whilst providing for training and development needs.   
  • Managing key strategic clients of BNP Paribas.   
  • Key stakeholder in AFS FA operating model to deliver new services, maximise productivity, control cost through budgetary planning whilst continuously seeking efficiency.   
  • Ensure operational compliance to meet regulatory, group standards and best practice.   
  • Risk management through the development, implementation and maintenance of appropriate controls.   
  • Reporting on performance against operational

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) targets and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).   

  • Facilitate the growth of BPFASIL through supporting new fund launches, the transition of existing funds from other service providers, and managing the change required from the introduction of new technology solutions.   
  • Review fund-operating documents, prospectus, and pricing policy, agreements to ensure service capability or development needs.   
  • Provide leadership and hands on guidance to the FA team and ensuring the team are actively developed and trained.   
  • Act as a point of escalation for client communications and for day-to-day AFS FA issues.   
  • Managing relationships with cross-location and cross-functional teams, making appropriate use of escalation channels where necessary.   
  • Coordinate the external requirement, clients, compliance, Trustee and Auditors, and agree delivery timeframes.    Support and influence the global AFS FA operating model.   
  • Work with local management to define strategy and prioritise local development initiatives.
  • Participate as necessary in industry committees and initiatives. 
  • To complete special projects and to perform other duties as appropriate.
