Job Title:  Investor Services Registration Assistant Vice President (AVP)
Business Unit:  Hedge Fund Services (HFS) – Fund Administration – BNP Paribas Fund Administration Services (Ireland) limited
Contract Type: Permanent 
Location: Dublin (Termini, Sandyford, Co. Dublin) or Galway (Galway Technology Park, Parkmore)

Role:
The objective of this role is to lead a team of 3 Investor Services Analysts within the wider Investor Services department and to act as a key member of the department management team. Core responsibilities are to ensure a consistently excellent level of client service, oversee the effective operation of the team and to identify & contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities:
1.    Manage a team of Investor Services Analysts and oversee their work to ensure it is of the highest quality standard. Ensure that the team operates efficiently, adheres to procedures, ISAE 3402 requirements and HFS best practice and policy.
2.    Ensure that Investor Services deliverables set out in Service Level Agreements between BNP Fund Services and the hedge fund clients are achieved.
3.    Work closely with the Investor Services offshore service centre team and oversee the registration processes that they have completed.
4.    Central point of contact and guidance for the wider Investor Services group for all matters relates to Registration and provide assistance to changes concerning policy, procedures and regulations. 
5.    Keep abreast of all local regulatory updates, especially FATCA and CRS, demonstrate knowledge and play an active role regarding any questions or issues raised.
6.    Schedule, allocate and review work of team members for accuracy and completeness.
7.    Recruit, train, motivate and develop staff to ensure a fully functioning team capable of meeting the department’s objectives, including leading the performance management process.
8.    Hold regular team meetings and create an environment of good communication with effective two-way feedback of information and ideas.
9.    Key member of the department management team, charged with progressing a variety of initiatives 
10.    Foster and support a culture of best practice and ‘white glove’ service to clients within the Investor Services area of the business.
11.    Support and drive new product enhancements, develop best practice and support the build out of capacity and scale within the organization.
12.    Encourage a programme of continuous improvement for the team to either mitigate risks or improve client experiences
13.    Attend new business meetings for existing clients seeking to set up new funds. Review documentation and application forms for completeness to ensure that service identified can be delivered.

Qualifications & Experience required for this role:
Essential    Desirable
Third Level Qualification or equivalent preferred.
4-6 years’ experience in Fund Administration with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management capacity preferred.
Proficient in the use of MS Office.

Experience of a variety of hedge fund types – e.g.  Offshore, Irish domiciled, Limited Partnership.

Experience of Hedge Fund Transfer Agency life-cycle, including AML, Investor Undertaking Tax (IUT) and FATCA/CRS.

Hard working Team Player who likes to work within and contribute to an organizational team structure.

Adaptability  : ability to adapt to and work within a dynamic changing environment 
    Financial Services related qualification.

Knowledge of NTAS and KURE software application.

Project Management skills.

Fluency in Italian would be beneficial.
