A short documentary on CLOUDLANDS premiered at the Lighthouse Cinema on Thursday, 11th June in Dublin.
CLOUDLANDS, an inspiring arts and technology project, started in December 2012, for teenagers with chronic illnesses, was created by Helium, an arts and health organisation for children in Ireland, and is supported by the BNP Paribas Foundation SMART START Programme.
The film depicts the importance of creativity in the lives of teenagers who spend significant amounts of time in Temple Street Children’s University Hospital.
The Cloudlands documentary was directed by Siobhán Perry and produced by Helium Arts. Helium Arts was awarded a bursary by artsandhealth.ie to document the programme and the documentary was funded by the Arts Council and the Cork Arts and Health Programme, HSE South.
