Baudouin Prot and other senior figures from global finance and the European institutions are meeting in Dublin today as part of a seminar organised by Eurofi.

‘The objective of this seminar is to organise a dialogue between public and industry leaders on major financial regulation topics. Progress on banking reforms, enhancing the financing of long term projects and challenges in non-bank funding of SMEs and Corporates are likely agenda topics. There is also likely to be consideration of Solvency II and how to improve the safety and efficiency of EU securities and derivatives markets.’ (EU2013)

As part of his visit to Dublin, Baudouin Prot will address BNP Paribas staff before his visit to the National Gallery where he and Gilles de Decker, Country Head, will meet with Sean Rainbird, Director.
