To mark the 40th anniversary of BNP Paribas in Ireland, the BNP Paribas Foundation and BNP Paribas Ireland are contributing support for the conservation of a masterpiece painted by Claude Monet (1840 – 1926) and the creation of a learning Resource on Impressionism.

“Argenteuil Basin with a Single Sailboat”  by Claude Monet, 1874, belongs to the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Ireland.

The conservation of the painting, undertaken by the National Gallery of Ireland Conservation Department, will be completed over the year 2013.
